=1950's Craftsman 8" Table Saw =

=Model 103.22160 (Model "80")  /  King Seeley built=

I brought this little saw home after pondering it for 2 weeks, the price was dirt low, but I just did not have a pressing need for an 8" table saw. In the end the fact of just how complete the saw was made me bring it home for the price of $20.00. The saw is in perfect working condition and loaded up with optional equipment. The saw has both extensions, the original stand, the "POWR PANL" switch controller. (this panel will switch the motor and a task light) Even cooler is the rare original Craftsman motor still mounted on the saw. The motor is a little odd how it mounts to the saw. There is a pin on the saw carriage that slides the motor when the blade is tilted to keep the belt in line. It does put a light twist on the belt, but it is how they designed it. One more oddity for this saw is what Sears called the "Mono Control" The is just the one hand wheel to control the saw, the front knob is pulled out to engage the blade tilt controls. I am planning to pack hole the extras on this saw and build the saw itself into a larger cabinet built around it. It is a bit of a shame to not use it like it is now, but the saw is a bit too small and the new rolling cabinet will house my router, a much better fence design and make the saw much better. If I ever decide to sell it, the original parts can be put back on the saw like you see it here.
